Spring Renewal Tips

The spring season is here and its the perfect time to establish new and supportive routines and rituals to help move out of the cold and stagnant winter and into the season of growth and renewal! Try these simple adjustments to your diet, exercise, and self care routine to mimic the natural changes of mother earth.  

Exercise: Get moving!  Spring is a great time to engage in more vigorous activities that boost circulation and build heat in the body. With longer days and warmer temps, taking brisk walks or going for a bike ride are great options or come try Step & Sculpt, Dance Fit, or Vinyasa Yoga at the studio! 

Diet: Due to the heavy, moist qualities of the earth during the spring season, its a good idea to pacify this with light, warm, dry foods. You might try avoiding too much dairy and fried foods and incorporating more steamed veggies, quinoa, or brown rice.  

Self Care: An act of self love can be as simple as hydrating yourself with something warm and delicious first thing in the morning.  Starting your day with warm lemon and ginger water can help cleanse your digestive system and jumpstart your metabolism. Pairing this drink with a quick gratitude practice is sure to get your days off on the best foot!
