A Summer Morning At-Home Yoga Flow
Summer brings us brighter, earlier mornings which makes for the perfect time to stretch! Try starting your day with this 10 minute flow and see what variations or other postures your body finds as you start moving!
· Start in Childs Pose (5-8 breaths)
· Start flowing between Childs Pose and Table Top- following the breath (5-8 breaths)
· Land in Table Top for a few rounds of Cat/Cow
· Start flowing between Table Top (or Plank) and Downard Facing Dog- following the breath (5-8 breaths)
· Land in Downard Facing Dog (3-5 breaths)
· Slowly walk the feet to the top of the mat for a Forward Fold (2-3 breaths)
· Gently rise up to standing- reaching the arms to the sky
· Interlace the fingers and hinge the body to the left, then the right
· Bring the hands to the heart and stand in mountain pose- strong, stable, and ready to take on whatever the day brings you!
